LIDLESS THEATRE

max-01.png

Lidless Theatre is an established London based theatre company that focuses on making raw and emotionally impactful theatre through human stories. Some of our plays have political dimensions, some have social dimensions, others tackle human rights, but we believe above all the shared human experience is the most vital and intrinsic aspect of the theatre and so we centre our work around that.

We are made up of a director, a producer, and a designer. We have an established relationship with Philip Ridley, having staged two revivals of his work. We are working closely with emerging playwrights to develop new work for 2023.

Finally, we often devise our own work, such as They Have Long Arms and They can Find Me, a piece looking at human rights abuses against the LGBTQI community in Chechnya, for which we partnered with Amnesty International.
