Lidless Theatre is a company of 12 actors, a director, designer and producer that have a collective track record of outstanding work. Our first project was a sell-out run of the T.S.Elliot’s The Waste Land, adapted into a 12 person epic, devised by the company and performed in an abandoned warehouse. Alongside Pebbles, we are working on new writing entitled “They Have Long Arms and They Can Find Me”, inspired by recent events in Chechnya.

We work closely with a newly established theatre in London Bridge called “Katzspace”, a 50 seat black box. There we hold regular scratch nights to develop our pieces and support the work of others.

We perform new, original work, across different styles from small naturalistic plays, to epic stories. Lidless is about new plays, made by professional actors, exploring big, recent and challenging issues.

Having trained at various drama schools, LAMDA, Drama Centre, Central, Arts Ed, Guildford, and Central Saint Martins, our members have since gone on to work on a variety of projects at The National, The Park, The Hampstead, have been on TV in Broadchurch, on BBC, have had music played on Radio One and worked with Matthew Bourne and Jethro Compton. We come together all year to make new work, and bring our own ideas to life.

Lidless is generously supported and made possible by our patrons:
